I, too, am baffled.

Also, I really hate that all anime openings now seem to have off-key singing and broken-up melodies. Whatever happened to the great openings of the 90s?! Escaflowne, Magic Knights Rayearth, Violinist of Hamln ...!

I didn't like the synthetic effects in that. And as far as the singing is, she sounds like she has peanut butter in her mouth. The chorus has a cool melody though.

Kino, is there anything else you find precious that I may disrespect?

I used to download stuff from AOL video servers -- back when AMVs were more like 45 seconds long and HQ full length OPs where a holy grail.

Megumi Hayashibara did so many great great songs in the 90s.

I will agree with Kino about most newer anime having shitty openings. They're trying to be cute or cool, but failing. Themes are meant to fit the series and be catchy, not just the latter.
