And now my one old online friend and I are continuing a roleplay I started a long time ago that was put on hold in 2009, because the girl who played our characters' wives pretty much had life. XD

Most AWESOME plot ever. xD In the end, it became a mixture of Mass Effect, Guild Wars 2, and Monster Hunter. Basically, 80 years before, meteorites landed all over the world and parasites infected animals. 20 years before, my character along with his future-wife and an older character of my friend's and a whole party, destroyed a meteorite and the "Parasite Queen" near their kingdom.

Now, it has been revealed that the other "Queens" have infected the 9 Gigan Beasts and are causing them to awaken. The Guild Wars influeceis that their awakening will change the land in so many ways--in fact, when one awakens an archipelago will cease to exist, because the whole chain of islands are two gigantic dragons. So, pretty much we have the equivalent of a midieval World War I with 3 countries (one simply being a country sized city) already using WWI technology (mainly artillery and rifles). So, my character was surprised when he found magic to be utterly useless against them, as the strongest (and most unethical) magical weapon that was in existence could not destroy one when this archipelago country declared independance by breaking off the mainland.

The parasites are evolving. The first was destroyed by magic, the second got shelled. The third has just awakened and it's pretty much 50 times as long as Raviente (which is apparrently 1 mile long) and 100 stories high, while on its belly. Pretty much, when my character told my friend's character, he was all, "We could definately do it." One earthquake and major disaster later, he sees just how much he underestimated it. XD

Walking through a blizzard with little protection for about an hour is such a surreal experience. After walking through a field for so long with only about ten meters of vision, and all you can see around you is white (chance looking up into the shards of ice), your mind begins to enter an almost dream-like state. After coming inside and looking into the mirror, it felt like looking at a dead version of myself. Wild.

Would do it again.
