Charades night was Tuesday, and it was awesome fun as usual.
We have a whole intricate set of rules and symbols. My favorite is the covert sign the girls came up with to say "its something that we wrote down and submitted!"
Also this exchange. This is my shouting out to the girl acting it out for my team:
Superhero! Two words! First word, one syllable! Second word, one syllable!
(girl makes a crude gesture)
DICK!
Sounds like "dick"?
THE TICK!
Clapping and lols all around for that one.
Also I had to act out "Bunga Bunga" and succeeded. I won't bore you with the details, but suffice to say it was most ingenious and impressive. I actually successfully acted out all of my charades that game.

I have a friend and former co-worker who lived in Sendai for many years. He's not there right now, thankfully, but I hope his friends there are okay.

I just heard there's a warning for a tsunami with 8 foot waves on California and that Hawaii's already been hit... Yikes. My prayers go out to everyone that's affected.
EDIT: I heard lies. Warning for 3 foot waves in California, which would only affect harbors and beaches.
