I wanted to play percussion, but all the percussionists were boys. I also hated the band teacher, and the people in band at my school were like nerd-jokes. They formed their own band-clique and were pretty bitchy about it. But that was at my school. Because the band played for football games and football is King of any southern school, the band, by association, got lots of funding and attention and prestige.

both my parents and my grandparents were born in Oklahoma. Mom was born in Bixby, Dad in Mannsville (same as his parents), and my mom's mom in Idabel... and I actually don't know where my maternal grandfather was born! Or how old he is. .__. I should ask my mom next time we talk.

Incidentally my PaPa is going to the semi-finals for the world series championship poker. If he wins than he's going to the big tourny in Vegas! Go Papa!
