Bought a webcam today so I could drink and talk with my uncle in Ireland. It was fucking great. Don't know how I let it go this long.

I do get a bit paranoid sometimes with webcams. The first thing I noticed when I woke up this morning was my webcam facing towards my bed. I'm glad I never have it plugged in unless I need to use it. I don't think I'd be comfortable with people watching me in my sleep via webcam.

I absolutely detest the things, yet I still have one. The truth is my former lover had bought it for me and sent it to me, when we had to part. It was given to me so that no matter where we were, we could still mystically gaze into each others souls.

Mine mainly serves as my microphone since my old headset broke and I never got around to replacing it.

I rarely use my webcam. I'm just too shy, and people I actually know don't tend to feel the need to communicate that way.

I don't have a webcam... I don't think I'll really ever need one for a while either. Seems like a PWoT to me, though I'm sure someone out there thinks the things are brilliant and uses it to capture their life 24/7.

Mine let's me take pictures of things, and has a built in a microphone when I need to chat, so frankly it's good. Also, it was forcefully bought for me.

Never really bothered to care about webcams much. I voice chat a lot so I buy headsets and actual mics rather than using a webcam mic.

I prefer to type my conversations anyway. I absolutely hate talking on the phone, and voice-chat, webcam seems like an extension of that.
