So, I moved into my Dorm on saturday. My roommate hasn't arrived and I'm basically stuck being bored out of my mind once "classes" are done. xD

I am a street fighter! GRRR! tough kino. >__>;;
Incidentally there was an EARTHQUAKE in Virginia today! I was just sitting here at work when I noticed the whole building start shaking, like a huge gust of wind was rocking it, but the tree limbs outside weren't moving. I was kind of freaked out because no one in the cafe seemed to be reacting. I went over and was like "Did you guys just feel that?!" and Keiyah, who works at the cafe, said no, but two of the customers (who were seated) said they had felt it. There was a plumber working on the sink, and he said that his wife had felt it out in VA Beach.
It took a few minutes before anything popped up on the internet to confirm that, yes, there had indeed been an earthquake.
Epicenter was in Mineral, up near Charlottesville, so it's pretty crazy that we felt it so strongly all the down here. 5.9 magnitude, according to the USGS.
Oh and there's a hurricane coming, due to hit us this weekend. My only reaction to that is "oh, good, maybe the rain will put out the Great Dismal Swamp fire"

Yeah, the tremors were felt all the way up here as well, Kino. I'm currently in Indiana PA, so... >_>;;
What the hell did you guys do? This side of the US isn't even prone to quakes. xD

Been tinkering my ATI Radeon HD 6800 to compensate for the fact I am using a monitor pulled off of the security system. Contrast! Colour! Much better.

If there was still a class and you could still walk out of it it wasn't that big an earthquake methinks. Or is it just that I've seen too many pictures of rubble piles?
