Seepage in levees is pretty common, especially with the level of water you guys are getting. Also, according to that article, the river hasn't been rising since 3:30 PM EST, which is good. Certainly not something to totally brush off, but the situation seems manageable.

Yeah, well, when you watch the tv version of this, it's a lot more scary. No, it's an actual... "hole" or something. The water was gushing up. They are bringing in trucks of sandbags to try to block things off some while they try to figure out what's going on and if it's something super serious.

And it "hasn't risen significantly". It's suppose to crest at 40.8 on a levee system built for 41. o_O;;

These numbers have been pretty consistent for half of the day so hopefully nothing changes for the worst in that area.
