I am just not seeing that sort of thing. Suppose it is due to the fact I gravitate towards y!Gallery for most of my yaoi needs, and this is what I base my feelings off of. Perhaps printed doujinshi are a different story entirely.

Ah, that explains it, doujinshi artists who do that make all the characters doll faced, with freaky bug eyes (yes, bug eyes, not big eyes) and purple lips (or I guess their purple, or black or whatever.) I'm sure y! gallery is more well suited than doujinshi.
