Learned of it within a couple hours. He'll be missed.

Last year our youth group went to West Ed Water Park, and I had to sit out at the side all day because the week before I had wiped out on my bike and chewed up my back and legs and elbows. It sucked. But we went today as a family, and I haven't had that much fun or smiled that much since Disneyland and Noodles. There are some wicked scary slides, with hydraulic drops. You stand on a platform and it counts down and shoots your ass down an almost straight-down drop and around a loop-dee-loop. I'd never do it again, but I'm glad I did it. I made my dad go, too. And there are lots of awesome other slides, too. Really glad I got to go.

But now my back is all scraped up and raw on my shoulder blades on the small of my back.

What do people ever hope to solve with violence?

There was this gathering event of the sorts where dinner was being served to those invited absolutely 100% for free. This angry bald guy goes into the kitchen, demanding food. Saying how they need to make it faster. The chef was doing just fine. In fact, well ahead of schedule. Yet he just stood there. Complaining... as if his bickering would make the food come faster.

And from outside of the room, I deliberately muttered loud enough: "Forgive us, Your Majesty."

Then he came stomping out of the room threatening to attack me. You know how the sort is. Was butting his chest into me like an enraged gorilla while flapping his arms like a chicken, going all red and muttering obscenities. As if violence against an innocent human being would make the situation better. Eventually I was able to sooth the enraged creature and he walked off muttering irrelevant insults like "FUCKING IDIOT UGLY KID" (which, by the way, I am 23 and certainly too conceited, vain and self-absorbed in my own beauty to take offence to that). Why do people need to solve their problems with violence against an uninvolved party? Why does it require violence, at all? And so impatient...

Humans are such fools.

Is this for real? It SEEMS real and not one of those stupid news spoofs that pop up on the internet from time to time. So, taking it that it is real and not a hoax (and I AM hoping it is just a stupid news spoof and I'm wasting breathe):

<_< Umm, seriously, this video pisses me off not for the reason I'm sure you posted for noodles. Content be damned, in terms of journalism, this is just a disgusting piece. That journalist should know better and this whole video just reeks of yellow journalism. As a journalist student I'm appalled that something like this could have made it up on television.

Reporters and their reports must remain unbiased and objective AT ALL TIMES.

The WRITER of this piece should be fired and sent back to apprenticeship. :[

As for the content, I don't even want to dare pass judgement on the situation because the report is so jaded I doubt I've gotten all the facts.

So I was at the pub this evening. Hadn't been there for a good couple of weeks or something like that. Busy, y'know. Expecting to close the place down and then a couple walks in and we start talking about my music selection on the jukebox. Then shortly before I leave, the guy of that couple asks me if I'm still rooting for Vancouver this year. I'm like wut how does he know I'm a Canucks fan, we're in fucking Minneapolis and I'm not wearing any identifying clothing. Turns out he was one of the many random people I hugged and cried into the night the Canucks lost in game 7 against the Bruins last season. ^^;;; eheehe

Isn't it fun to find people that recognize you from a while ago?
