That sucks. On a less-depressing-non-everybody-awesome-is-dying note, I just sent and email in to Marvel about the Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man comic. I'll let you guys know if it gets published or something, but I guess that's unlikely.

That feel when you're reading Icelandic Sagas for your history class and you realize that you've been reading it for years already, only it was Japanese and called "Berserk".

I haven't read Vinland Saga yet, so I'm not actually sure to what extent it has anything to do with the Icelandic Saga of the same name. I do know that Vinland Saga, the manga, is often compared to the early volumes of Berserk (4-13, probably), but this saga I was reading for class shares more of the supernatural, doomed hero, stuff. As in the character (Grettir) has an almost identical curse to Guts.
