I am curious what the song was.

Do you remember any of the lyrics at all, that you could share?

it was a catchy tune. The main lyrics were sung kinda background "record"-like male voice, but the main chorus was sung by different guys.

>_< no, I can't remember much of the lyrics at all except that it was about a gun and something with kids. And there was mention of a cowboy - I think the song was talking about him acting like one? ... and shooting people.... o_O;

oh! I do remember one of the odder parts of the songs was about finding the gun in a box of strange sex things in his dad's closet - which is what made me actually try to focus on the lyrics.

Up until then I think the song was innocent enough, but it was the second part that got me. I think he was going to shoot his dad.

It was just such a WEIRD song because it was a "fun" song - until you listen to the lyrics.

Oh. You were listening to Pumped Up Kicks, by Foster the People. The subject is a troubled (and likely domestically abused/neglected) kid going on a killing spree. Fun.

I think this is right up there along with that Columbine video game.

Recovering from yesterday's Halloween party.

I have people telling me about shit I allegedly did, and a bunch of photos on my phone that I do not recall taking (several of which involve other people wearing my horse mask.) I think my memory of the evening gets murky somewhere around the time I start drinking Jack straight from the bottle....

It's not even November yet and already we have a snow storm that left nearly every town around me completely without power. Even the grocery store I work at is without power (with minimal energy from generators). Everywhere near my school (including my old high school) is without power as well. However, the only damn place near my college that has power is... my college

goddamn generators.
The back roads I took as a shortcut to get to class today had plenty of debris such as tree limbs and power lines strewn across the center of the road. Good thing I drive a Jeep!


Now I want too see all of those trick-or-treaters trudge through the foot and a half of snow we have on the ground XD

Midterm I was supposed to have today has been canceled... since our teacher is nowhere to be found.
