Very true.
But it's still a considerable amount of snow to fall before even Halloween :V

Wow. I've never seen that much snow here; not even the winter before last.

Such fortune! Much rather have had snow, than rain. We usually get snow during Halloween... and with its lack of presence, the trick or treaters gained a false-sense of ease.

I'd call that a snowstorm.

Weather is crazy, first it hits record highs in summer, and now we get record lows towards winter. Thanks Earth! =D

Who could have guessed that being unprepared for more snowfall than is usual for your region causes discomfort and confusion?

Mm. No fun driving on icy roads down south when you are not used to that sort of thing. :[

^_^ Oh I didn't mention our first "snowstorm" here in PA. It was very nice. Quite a bit of snow dumped - and it was a nice wet snow that woulda been perfect for snow men. Too bad the ground wasn't frozen enough to cause much accumulation.
Still, what we did get, was melted off very dramatically the next day with a nice "don't really need a coat today" weather. It was really interesting to walk outside in snow without a coat... though it looked like it was raining from the trees and you had to be careful to not get snow dumped on you. LOOK OUT BELOW!!
^_^ I LOVE SNOW!!!!

OH MY GOD SO MUCH FUR
I'm sitting here frantically sewing and sewing all this wolf fur for my Princess Mononoke costume. I have all the pieces and am just assembling them tonight.
I debated making either her knife or spear, but I'd have to carry it the whole con, so I decided against it. Also didn't want to spend anymore money; the fur was like $25 a yard... I'll probably end up having to carry the mask around; never could figure out a way to keep it on the top of my head securely, so my options are either to wear it or carry it. It's going to look awesome, though.
