Can I join the ear problems club? I went pretty much deaf I think two years ago? Having your ears flushed out is no fun and I always get paranoid that I'm going to get deaf again. It sucks not being able to hear people. It's frustrating for everyone involved.

I have okay hearing, but I'm sensitive to high-pitched sounds, loud noises, and sounds located directly behind me -- surround sound entertainment systems are the bane of my existence. Also the electronic high-pitched squeal that electronics make.. GAH!

TVs are the absolute worse. I hate hearing them.

Also metal detectors and retail theft monitors! I hate walking through them because I can hear the noise they make.

The library detector thingies at my old university library were insane -- I could hear them from up to 10 feet away! Ugghh
