Ok, guys, I really need some information here, for anyone using a Mac computer.
I had my meeting with my client yesterday and some of the stuff he said was kinda odd to me.
He has some photographers that use Mac computers (no surprise). And he said that he use to send these newsletters that he had in pdf format and would distribute them in email attachments but then some Mac users were having problems and someone in his association started to just place them in some drop box website (dunno it but sounds like a google docs device).
As far as I recall, I didn't think that there was a problem with Mac users reading pdf files? What program do you guys use? Is there anything I should be aware of? Maybe I should email him again and get the facts just to be sure I fully understand them. He wants these displayed in at least some sort of archival page on the site but I want to be sure everyone can read them.

I can read PDFs just fine... I have the free Adobe Reader.
Are they talking about Dropbox? It's a nifty site. It's cloud storage, I guess similar to Google Docs. After a certain amount of space usage I think you have to pay for the service, but it's pretty easy to use. You can get the desktop app-type thing and just drag and drop! I think. I haven't used it in a long time.

If you share the dropbox link you get extra free space. My dad has like, 8 gigs of space without paying, I have about 3. You start with 2. It's pretty good.

Oh, nice! I didn't know that. I started using it a while back just to share a file once and haven't really done anything with it since.

Thanks Trif! Your answer was a lot more helpful than you realize.
After re-questioning my client, he said that he wants to double check with the one user who had the complaint because he's not really sure, either, anymore. It could just possible be a single end-user complaint about something, but even if it is, this person has been dedicated enough to the newsletter by creating the drop box link and sending it out, and I want to make sure I can accommodate this person and any others that might have shared this problem.
I'm actually suspecting it probably has/had something to do with the email attachment itself. Obviously if the drop box is just a storage and distribution link, unless the Mac user was changing it someway, it wouldn't make any sense why the person would go to such effort. Perhaps there was something incompatible between mailboxes.

Opening up my laptop changes my Steam name. This does not really make sense. For a program like MSN, I understand how that happens. But with Steam... things like the display name can be modified and it will impact the client on all ends. It would make sense to just exit Steam on the laptop or have the same name on both ends, but I will not. It amuses me too much. People think I just really like changing my name.

Mocking someone by changing my name does not count.
I still think Maximums MagicWalrus was my best work.

Considering how conscious Maxine is about her size, 'MagicWalrus' wasn't such a nice joke, Rosel.

Not really. It is humour in contrast.
The fox is graceful, lithe and agile. A good contrast is the walrus. It would be a completely different story if I were to refer to Maxine as Maximum MagicWalrus, and not declaring myself as Maximus MagicWalrus.

Oh, I didn't take it at all like that. ^_^ Actually, I just thought she chose the walrus well because... I mean...

Besides I think Maxine is a very beautiful and heart-warming person, and I would never walk on a bridge I felt was unstable. She knows she can tease me and I know I can tease her, because we are very comfortable with each other. Her weight has honestly never crossed my mind at any point whenever I think about her. It is hard to imagine her without getting tunnel vision over that smile.

^_^ Awww, you're so sweet Rose! Thank you.
I could never imagine you making fun of my weight. That's why that never crossed my mind, either. And I know you're just teasing. And I enjoyed teasing right back :3
You'll always be my MagicWalrus. <3
No, seriously. I think you're a wonderful person, too. And I'm glad to have met you and continue to get to know you.
