I had a hunch I'd get all the games on my list (I wanted Persona 4 above all else).

I was seriously NOT expecting the Nintendo Wii though. That was a most awesome gift to get. I'll have to go out and buy a Wii game or two tomorrow (Metroid Prime 3 first and foremost. Been DYING to play this game).

I predicted everything except for most of my stuff

did not except the hair trimmer for nose and eyebrow hair etc (AWESOME)

did not expect the Journey CD (wtf, it's not that I don't like them, but I never so much as mentioned liking them, and I never cared enough to want the CD)

did not expect the wireless forcast thing (AWESOME)

did not expect the fucking casette player (wtf I don't even own any cassettes. "OH I THOUGHT YOU ASKED FOR THAT" lol)

I did get some things I actually mentioned wanting though, which is cool.

The fish is a blue siamese fighting fish. I've named her Ethress. :3 Whenever I play music, she swims to the side of the bowl nearest to my speakers. Adorable! Can probably feel the vibrations.

and a tray for my laptop that I can slide over my bed XD I guess my family is getting tired of me falling asleep at my computer when I'm (laying) on my bed. I don't know if this will help it, but it's sure fuggin' awesome and going to see a lot of use just 'cause it will help reduce some strain on my neck 'cause I'm always looking down even when I do sit up and have it on my lap.

<_< I felt SOOO bad, though. I guess Rissa, my youngest sister, didn't tell my parents what she got for me for Xmas. I got TWO copies of KH:RE:CoM, one from her and one from them. :3 In her defense, hers is kewler because it comes with special edition postcard artwork inside. Obviously consider that it's special edition, she got hers first, so my parents kinda feel bad. ^_^; I told them to just take it back and surprise me with another game if that's what they want to do. Awww, I feel so bad for them but so happy that both they and my little sister knew I wanted the game that much. XD

Rune Factory 2 Rant:
[spoiler]*blinks* Kino, I need to go back and look through old messages, but, I thought you said you had a hard time getting money in this game. Didn't you do the requests? Hell, one quest gave me 3000 while another 2000 and then two of them gave me some special food items which I sold and gave me more money. And this is before my crops even come in - which I obviously have been purchasing seeds. Next day is the 6th so my first batch of crops will come in and I'll start saving up for things from there.

Feels like a regular Harvest Moon game, though, so far in that respect.

I AM SO GOING AFTER DOROTHY, THOUGH!! OMG SHE'S SO CUTE!! XD
It is either her or Mana, but, I REALLY REALLY like Dorothy.

And so far I really do like the requests feature 'cause it feels like the townspeople actually have a purpose.

I already got a system down, though. From 6:00-9:00 I water my crops and go light foraging, then from 9:00-6:00 I'm fulfilling requests and foraging in between since a lot have me running in and out of dungeons to get items. I SO SO hate the fact that things have to be in the shipping bin by 3:00. *sigh* I think I've sold more things to Douglas than I have put in the bin. Though, I really like the bin because it keeps track of the totals and stuff (though, there's no memo that tells me how much I've sold just for that day... I hate that).

o_O The board only has like four more requests on it, though. That worries me. Will more get added on as soon as I'm done or at the start of the next season. My money! .. well, but, I am getting crops in soon. Saving up for my first weapon. The fireball spell is nice but I feel very unprotected.[/spoiler]

The person who means the most to me just stopped by. I gave her my gift and she gave me mine. All I can say is wow.

My loot this Christmas:

- I bought myself a pair of cute Prinny tea cups and the Makai Kingdom & Disgaea DS Special from RosenQueen
- Also got myself a copy of House of Leaves, a book I've been meaning to get for ages now
- A visit from my friend all the way from CT.

I haven't really done the material gifting thing for quite some time, but I like giving things more than receiving stuff to fill my living space with. When I do buy a gift for someone, it tends to be something like a copy of a good book I've read during the year that may be of interest to them. I might also do something for someone, for which I get warm fuzzies in return. ^_^ (But the truth is more likely that I'm just too lazy to participate in the festivities....)

Oh and the Japanese game comes in two different deals the normal which is 70$ or the speacial limited edition which comes with a figurene this one to be specific.
