Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta
Our house is not AC'ed, either. My AC is a little one purchased from Walmart about 2 years ago for somewhere around $150 or so.
<3 Best purchase I ever made. It doesn't throw out much and it's obviously a cheapy unit. I wish I had a bigger one, but it fucking beats NONE at all. I love the thing.

@Kino: Yeah, I know. Its way worse in other parts of the country, I was once at the Atlanta airport during the summer and made the horrible mistake of stepping outside for a minute. Never again. All of my places of residence (Ireland, Western Washington, a bit of Vancouver, BC) have acclimatized me to ever present over cast weather/rain. Anything over 75 degrees and I start to lose my shit. It doesn't help that I am covered in fur.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta
I'm making a Etrian Odyssey-based campaign adventure for my Pathfinder group <3
I hope they have fun with it. I'm going to hand them graph paper and tell them it'd be wise to trace their path through the labyrinth. Along the way they'll encounter NPCs who will give them partial maps -- but most of their maps are incorrect, so the trick is not relying too much on them, but some maps reveal useful things like the location of monsters, treasures, more NPcs (they need to rescue 6 NPCs out of the dungeon and defeat/locate the main boss) and even a hidden passageway. They'll need to explore the labyrinth entirely to find everything and everyone!
Also the main "boss" is a Life Restoring Automaton created by a group of overzealous magic students... but HealBot has gone rogue and is turned into a MurderBot.
teehee <3 I just got done drawing the labyrinth and the NPC maps

IRC? No. OpenRPG is the best.
I've thought about this. I might be happy to run a one shot or short campaign for ItL people over ORPG, but I imagine scheduling would be tough.

I'd be game for that

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta
Well, I downloaded+installed OpenRPG. I'm down for it whenever, but I agree that scheduling would be hard.
Otherwise I'm cool to DM whenever I can. I've got this labyrinth adventure already made and could easily create more.
The only RPG system I know is Pathfinder, and the cool thing about Pathfinder is you can get all the information here: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ so we don't all have to have 17 million books at hand to play.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta
I read through a whole bunch of stuff for the past few hours, and I kind of understand some of the basics. Sounds really fun if we can make it work.
