Speaking of long-haired men and the women who love them, how do our resident fujoshi look upon Vikings and their modern-day counterparts, metal musicians?

I think every damn doctor in this building left at 3 PM. I haven't had a damn thing to do since around 2:30. If I wasn't currently getting paid to read this forum, I would probably have left.

I'm a fan of long hair on a man, especially when it's well groomed and tied back at the nape of the neck. It just does something for me.

In my high school days I was a HUGE fan of Manowar... pretty much the metalest, manliest, muscle-iest most long-haired-est group who ever wished they were real Vikings. Gods, they were so cheesy. xD But their music still stirs me.

I also had a phase where I was totes obsessed with Vikings and Norse mythology, so I had a lot of fun devouring any and all history books I could find on 'em. In fact, I still have a collection of the mythology that I just can't seem to part with and I just got rid of my copy of A History of the Vikings (Gwyn Jones, an excellent volume) a while back. I might replace it when I move to my new place, though, 'cause it was nice to have around.

Hmmm! Now there's an interesting thought. I would have to see that to know if I liked it. I do know I like seeing strong (as in muscular), masculine men in that type of relationship in general (example: the manga FAKE, featuring two tough New York cops who become partners and fall in looooove).

^_^; Long hair on a guy to me is about the same as being unshaven facially. However, I also do not like them when they shave their heads.

I will agree that muscled men are better - but not too ripped that it starts to look disgusting. :3 But, I agree, Trif. There is something about muscles on a guy... *^_^*
