FRIENDS! Where do you keep your washing machine in your house?

In the bathroom (you know, where the shower is). That's where the washing machine hookup (water, separately earthed electricity, drain) is in my apartment. Putting it in any other room would be rather problematic. The hall closet has too little room, and the kitchen is part of the living room, which would make washing too noisy. Other rooms don't have water.

Are you planning on moving out on your own, Noodles?

Got a question for anyone that owns an iPad. Actually this question is for my sister.

She's moved into a dorms and she has this iPad, but she is experiencing some difficulties where when she connects to the free internet, it does not bring up the terms and conditions portal.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes.

1) This is the "free" internet provided by the school, correct?
2) Is she able to get access to the internet fine, just without having to go through the portal?

edit:
Back when I worked for my university's IT department, I found out that Apple computers (or something) didn't need to use the annoying certification software than other machines needed to access the campus network. If the answer to both my questions is yes, then my guess would be that something similar is happening to your sister.

And if not, I have other ideas.
