^ The stage in a relationship where you're not stupid anymore (it makes you stupid) comes pretty late. That's the basic fact on the table. Whether you want to make big, lifechanging decisions while you're stupid or while you're not stupid is up to the individual, I suppose. Luck is also a factor. And how important the decision is also varies.
