I just watched Inception the other day, actually. It was very good, and something I'd like to purchase for my library when it's released.

I, too, am interested in hearing Hanyou-ni's opinion on Inception. ^_^ I get the feeling he's going to enjoy the idea behind the feel but dislike the presentation (/action scenes). However, I still have strong hopes that he will fully enjoy it as much as I did myself.

I've heard so many people diss the ending of the film. o_O; I actually felt that it's one of the FEW times that this form of ending WORKED.
And either way, I don't get what all the fuss is about. It was a good ending. Say we go with worst-case scenario: he's still trapped in his subconsciousness. Obviously, however, he's started the healing process. Even if he never wakes up, he himself has accomplished all that he needs. It would be sad for his children, granted, but in just the context of his existence, it's such a profound step that needed to be taken. And let's face it, do you really believe that the other guy was actually going to hold up his end of the bargain?

I just feel like it didn't matter whether he woke up or not. It wasn't information that we needed. He forgave himself. That's the information that we needed.
:3 BTW, Kino (though you will probably not get this post for a while), I hope you enjoyed Ariadne's name as much as I did. ^_^ The moment she gave her name it was kinda "ooooh, I know your role now." but... on the other hand, that made her role a little too predictable for me.
Those who need a non-spoiler hint of Ariadne's name (don't read if you don't know and haven't seen the movie)
First, you should just be ashamed of yourselves considering you are Etrian Odyssey fans. Granted, our english versions call them "Warp Wires" but the Japanese version is "Ariadne's Thread" a reference to the greek myth of the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. It was she who gave Theseus a magicked thread that he tied one end of to the entrance of the Minotaur's labyrinth and held on to the other end hoping to follow it and find his way back.

And there are just so many levels to this character and her name: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariadne%27 ... 28logic%29

:( As I said, knowing this stuff while watching the movie was like "Ooooh, how cute! ... x_x but now I know what her story is before it's even gotten started"
