I have this thing for having "Rules" about what I like, and then loving something completely against that rule.

Case in point, I hate musicals.

Except I fucking love the Sound of Music. I think it's the fact that it's fucking gorgeous (hellooooo Austrian photo shoot intermission!) and the Captain is totally my "type" when it comes to romantics -- I'm just such a sucker for the "Heero/Hero" type. Lame pun intended.

Also fuck you Edelweiss is a goddamn glorious moment of awesome when he sings it at the end and chokes up because he's giving the Nazi a big giant middle finger via song because he's that badass he married a nun fuck yeah

I do find the sound of music to be awesome. I personally Like fiddler on the roof even though I have only watched it once. It is a long movie.

Love 'em both! My favorite musical is Guys and Dolls though. The music just makes me happy. Also I love Rent. And many more but I won't bore you all with the list lol. Musicals are epic.

I always feel surprised when I find out some celebrity is Canadian. I mean, I shouldn't, but there's always that moment of disbelief, like they're stealth Canadians or something, or like you should be able to tell a Canadian at a glance, or they need to walk around saying eh, eating poutine, and continuously playing hockey.

It's like meeting Asians with thick southern accents. Your brain just melts a little, and then you feel guilty.
