Just saw The Fighter. I quite enjoyed it.
[spoiler]The family annoyed the shit out of me for most of the movie, but I'm glad the characters were able to sort things out in the end.[/spoiler]

I watched Shutter Island, and it was rather dumb.
For a movie with great acting and decent cinematography, it was unbelievably bad. Mr Kino and I just sat around and poked fun at it the whole time. I guess when it's Martin Scoresece (sp?) you just want to have a higher standard but, really, it was just dumb. Hardly coherent, completely lacking reliability in the narration...
At least White Chicks or even Transformers knew what they were doing and stuck with it. Shutter Island just... gah. Such a bad movie.

I just watched an episode of House.
This may be THE most medically inaccurate show on TV. It's pretty funny how bad some of the stuff is.

I've watched all of L&O and I'm pretty sure this qualifies me as a lawyer and/or policeman at this point
maybe if I watched enough House I could be a doctor
Recently I watched the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and that was also dumb and the dying old lady drove me crazy because you couldn't fucking understand her
then Mr Kino watched Pinocchio's Revenge and that was so bad it became good again
Oh, and tonight I'm going to see the new Simon Pegg/Nick Frost film. I forget what it's called, but it's about an alien. It doesn't come out in theaters for another week or two, so this is a special media screening I got tickets for at work
