School!
Moderator: ItL Moderators
English exam tomorrow, which I am prepared for.
SAT on Saturday, doing a practice one right now.
Math exam Tuesday and physics exam on Thursday, which I have yet to start studying for.
Ugh. But on the bright side, no school for another two weeks other than those exams!

So, after picking up my sisters after finals, they wanted to visit the middle school. The three of us all went to the same place, so we went to visit our old teachers. I visited my English teacher from my 04-05 year of 7th grade and she recognized me spot on--it took everyone else a minute to recognize the kid in the black coat. XD
My history teachers of both 7th and 8th grade--not my 05-06 teacher, though. He got Leukimia(sp?) a few years ago-- were very surprirsed to hear I chose history as my major. XD

Classes resumed as of today. It is also my first day since I spent all last week getting everything in for transferring into the new University and such. I wasn't happy with my previous institution, nor did they provided good classes for my major. Plus, I actually have friends that attend to this University. Hurray.
Crime & Media was an interesting class. I am definitely looking forward for the rest of this semester. Oh, yes, indeed.
Oh, wait, I got to buy books...fffff...those are always expensive! afajfh

That's...acceptable.
But I'm talking about state-mandated standardized tests, which any competent eighth-grader could pass. Seriously, there might be some math questions they wouldn't know, but half of that section was just mean/median, box and whisker plots that nobody ever teaches, and easy equations. They were really catering to the lowest common denominator. [hide]lol math[/hide]

I wish I'd taken the SAT just so I could brag about my score even though no one cares
I took the ACT, which is what you take when you're only allowed to apply to shitty Oklahoma schools
I took the pre-SAT thing they make you take in the 8th or 9th grade, though, and we could submit those to colleges if you wanted. I submitted mine to Yale and they were impressed. Fuck yeah. Too bad my parents wouldn't let me apply to any schools besides the local one. Lol crush your daughters ambitions for no reason other than your own selfish desire to keep her at home forever
