Oh wow o_o wtf is wrong with me, I have it tomorrow 5/8/09 haha
Uhh right now my brain is fried
Let's see...
-DBQ - okay, if it's on post Civil War issues like Reconstruction, Urbanization, Industrialization I have a good shot of making a good one. Early colonial time period? SCREW THAT I'M DEAD.
-Essays - Hopefully there's something on the Korean/Vietnam war or something, but I'm not sure 'cause the DBQ last year was on Vietnam ._. I'm praying there's nothing on colonies here and around the antebellum period, either.
-I hate everything before the Civil War. UGHH. WWII onwards seems pretty good, though.
-Strong points: WWII (not domestic policies though, which suckssss), Cold War, War of 1812, Civil War, damn I guess most of the wars, and around the 1870s-1900s, JFK to Jimmy Carter
-Weak points: colonies I HATE YOU, Jacksonian Democracy, Antebellum South, FDR's New Deals (can't remember which is which), late Cold War around the Middle East, and the Gilded Age presidents (general social and economic stuff's fine with me, though)
So my goal is to get about a 66+% on the MC. It's graded on one hell of a curve (66% + good dbq + good essays = 5! yay). I've been getting scores around this range and above so I thhiiink I have a decent shot at the MC. There's 80 questions in 55 minutes so eh... I think the SAT IIs was along the same lines. I had a little bit of extra time so hopefully it'll turn out the same way but much better.
If there's a God out there, pleaseeee let the DBQ be on the Urbanization/Industrialization/Gilded Age crap T_T. Or maybe War of 1812, that's not too bad either.
Sorry for the rantage, I kinda needed that
Back to studying!
