These games look atrociously not-fun (for me.)

But they look like something I'd like to watch my fiance play.

I used a continue at the beginning of her stage - ran into a STUPID FUCKING IDIOT BULLET. But I made it all the way up to her final spell card. >_< It's the one spell card I can never beat. GYAAAAAAAAAAAAH I HATE YOU UTSUHO!!

T-T If I can just beat her once, I could practice on her. Damn, I wish that this was like IN where once you've seen a spell card you could practice on it.

*Nods* "Focus" is the act of "slowing" down, or really it's the characters focusing their shot into a general location (though XD in IN Yuyuko's shot is spread rather than a focus shot).

And Scy, it's not really the "speed" of EoSD that bothers me (I think it's about the same between games). What pisses me off is lack of hitbox (yes I know there's a patch for that) but that I sometimes also feel that hitboxes are screwed up for the enemies as well. And I just hate the shots.

@"CC" I dunno, something seemed weird with your explanation so for arguments sake, I'll just make SURE that it's clear. 1cc'ing doesn't mean not losing lives but it means not getting a "continue"/losing ALL lives and getting the choice of "continue".

I just say this because most continues occur in the fifth or sixth stages. And your description said you 1cc'ed the first two easily - o_O; dear LORD I hope so. Just getting through the first two stages without losing a single life is usually a pretty normal feat (unless you are like me and get sloppy and overconfident) - so getting a 2cc in the first two stages is... XD.

^_^ If you want to see mine or Zeta's Replays, don't hesitate to ask. I know I'll wanna see some of yours!! I'll even play a little EoSD if that's what you are playing. :3

@Grazing in IN: Depends on what team you have. Border team SUCKS when trying to graze. I feel that Ghost Team are better grazers, but then, you have to deal with Youmu's Myon. -_-; Trying to swing that damn ghost around is a work of art sometimes and can cripple you in later stages if you aren't paying attention.

@Focus: Yes, it's pressing the "slow down" key.

@Big Screen: You know there IS a window mode? The later games ask which mode you want when you start the game but the older ones you can find it in the Options menu.

Nope, it's the WHOLE game. Not using a single continue all six stages is 1cc when we are discussing it.

It's important in that if you 1cc the whole game you get the true ending. Depending on the game, once you 1cc easy and/or normal modes you then unlock Extra Stage (which offers NO continues).

Using a continue gets you BAD END. Or in the case of IN, it depends on what boss you went for. Path A gets BAD END, Path B gets... o_O Game Over.

Yeah, Game Over and BAD END are two diff things. XD
