Cave/Tecnosoft/Shanghai Alice SHMUPs are my favorites.


Although, Gradius, Space Invaders,and Galaga are pretty awesome too.

I thought most of Raizing/8-ing, Along with Toaplan (<3) helped to form Cave.

Oh, and before I forget:


Treasure & Compile SHMUPs <3<3<3<3<3




Never been a fan of R-Type.
Don't understand the appeal.

I prefer the idea of weapon/speed customization on the fly as opposed to a shield that can be used as a weapon.

I probably can't say much about Touhou beyond what has been said already. XD Though, me and my dorkiness totally wants to see someone have Pokemon/Touhou fanart of Kanoko in... Kanoko Town from Black and White.

the sad thing is, despite it being a doujin title, a Touhou Sonic game would be of a higher caliber than all of the Sonic games in the past eight or so years XD
