Touhou Danmaku series! - And others

I don't know, but that was the launch price. They only cost a few hundred now I think. For comparison the 360 Core was about $350 and the Pro cost $499. I got the Pro bundled with a bunch of games, 3 extra controls and some other crap for $780. Oh, and that $1000, was just the plain console. No hard drive. 1 controller.

Yeah, well I might be poor, but I prioritise. Who needs 3 meals a day anyway . Seriously, thats how I fund my very expensive habits (compulsive video gaming and anime watching), just figure out what isn't absolutley essential and before your eyes, your gaming budget blooms.

Same. That combined with cutting back on almost everything else, is how I can afford all the crap I buy. Hell, the first time a new friend comes over to my place they usually can't believe all the shit I own (a lot), given how much I earn (not much).

I don't know where you find all these touhou games though, I've only seen physical copies of like two of them. But I've never been to a con or anything

It is a combination of things.

a) I do go to cons (though not really that relevant because I've never seen a Touhou game at a con in Australia, and I've only been to Japan once)

b) I have a friend who goes to Comiket almost every year.

c) When I have money to spare, I scour the depths of the Internet to find them.

d) Lots of luck (this one is the most prevelant)

Of the Touhou games, I've 1cc'd Easy Mode on:

IN (4 times, way too easy)
MoF
SA (Defeated the last boss with the maximum ( -> 8) amount of lives left. WIN!~)

I hate PoFV, though. It's just...meh. Not Touhou-like.
Also, EoSD is horrible, too. I just don't know why. >->

I've only played a few of the shooters so I don't know how it stacks up with the rest of the series as a whole, but it is absolutely my favorite setting and cast

Never given it much though, really, but now that I think of it (-> what I remember from playing it a couple of months ago),
the graphics were bland and ugly, the music was horrible, the hitbox was nowhere (T-T), the focused shot was absent, too (I think), and some other things.

So yeah, I don't really like it. >->

I do need to play it again, though. I keep hearing great things about it,
and since the only Touhou games I haven't 1cc'd yet are UFO and PCB, and those are hard as hell, so I haven't really got anything better to do.

Except EOIII, and SMT:SJ.
(@SMT SJ: Last time, my save got deleted just before the final boss. I let myself be traumatized for ~Half a year, but now I've started a new game. Thinking of doing Chaotic route now, instead of Lawful. To, you know, make things more interesting.)

There's a for the graphics. It replaces some of the sprites and backgrounds. It doesn't change the gameplay at all, though.
