I want to use Nanowrimo to make me write. But I fear I will just fail because I have too much school work.

:\ Who cares if you "fail". LOL, I hate it when people make this excuse. They don't want to try because they think they will fail. I think if it helps to inspire you to TRY and actually gets you to write x-amount of words more than you normally would, whether you win or lose, that's reward enough. There is no "prize". The most you get is maybe a little bit of bragging rights - oh, ok, and you can print out a cute little document that you can pen your name into.
*Shrugs* Give it a go! See how close you can get! I dunno how many kick off parties I attended where most of the participants say "yeah, failed last year. Was just x-amount of words away! I'm going to get it this year!"
Don't forget, guys. My is still up for use!
^_^ WRITE!! WRITE!! WRITE!!
... This is so sad... Watching everyone fretting over their NaNoWriMo... -_- and not participating. I feel so... left out.

*goes back to work on her novel* I've got other challenges that I'm facing, though. -_- *sigh* No, I need to keep focused. This is not the time to be distracted by another novel idea!!

Yeah, see, I have no problem writing large amounts. I'm pretty verbose in my writing. I have around 25-30k for one piece laying around right now. To me its all about setting the time aside. I think I'll try and get into it..
After I do my homework...

I think the one draw for me with NaNoWriMo has always been the sense of community. That I was struggling with the exact same thing that everyone else was struggling with and HEY it was something that I absolutely loved, and there was no compromise I was being forced to deal with in order to enjoy the fun. There isn't anything that I half-like about NaNoWriMo.
*hugs TLQ* BUT no... I need to focus on my current novel...

I need to put all my love and attention into what I truly want. I want to be a published writer who's writing a series. That's the community I truly want to join. So.... -_- I'm just sitting on the sidelines this year, watching everyone doing it without me... not part of any community at all.... just in that... in-between zone. I'm in-between communities. Yep... that's me.... T-T

So, I get 5k words in and then remember I also have to do reserch for a big history paper at the same time as this. If it weren't for that, I think I'd have a bit more confidence. XP As much a I hate to admit it, that paper has a higher priority and will take up more of most of the month.

Seriously, noodles. I love you. <3
And I don't recall if I posted this yet... . I like it. I like it because it's brutal and vulgar and he uses lots of kennings (well, maybe they aren't technically ... but I still love whatever they are). I love me some kennings. Blame Beowulf for that one.

Magnificent works.
I just done writing in paper.
I never shared my works.
Well, I make writings, but hell I'm a noob.
I really want to write, but then again, things can get out of hand.
I am doing a Visual Novel right now, but I will keep it to myself.
I got traumatized with the awful comment a person made.
"What is this s**t? Don't you ever get writing? Writing is for fluent Speakers, and they are for the chosen. Seriously, give it up..."
That really hurt my pride...
Don't mind me people, just...ignore me.

Well, for one, I think we can all agree that comments like that are just ridiculous. No, I'm sure you'll find that as a group we tend to be very constructive with our comments here. It's really wrong when someone goes and insults work like that and it really sounds like that person before might just have been a troll to begin with.
Writing is like anything else - it takes time, practice, and a lot of love. I'm glad to hear that even though you are now shy about sharing your work, it hasn't deterred you from continuing to write.
I hope one day you'll feel comfortable enough with all of us that you might share your work as well. ^_^ As long as you enjoy it, though, I encourage you to continue writing. There's nothing more fun to do in my eyes.

Yeah... That filthy commentor doesn't even have the right to say that to me.
And well, I'm still shy. Someday I will show you my works, folks!
I made a Class of Heroes Fan Story, but I lost it.
Now I'm making a visual novel about the Chaos Wars game.
I wonder if it will be legal if I take some of their pictures to use... :\
Is that legal?
That's just a fan story...
My mom is even telling me to make my own and sell.
But what she doesn't understand is that I need inspiration to write.
