6 days...
I have created the house the people will be staying in (pretty simple in design), and I have created the names, occupations, and personalities (kinda) for Death's personal staff and "guests".
And here's an idea, noodles:
A story from the perspective of a tree.
It would probably suck, but whatever.

What about multiple perspectives (tree, nearby people, OCD squirrel, etc.)
Or give the tree the power to create a human extension of itself, and tell it from the perspective of her.

I just thought of Gaea, really.
And it's not like you wouldn't like to be that girl.

I am thinking about completely rewriting some stuff I have written before, which amounts to like 2,000 words

^_^ Writing on the fly with no fucking clue is fun, though. But, I don't think I could do it for more than one or two days - maybe a week if things are going really good. After that I take out what I liked and enjoyed and throw it altogether properly - sometimes forming more than one story.
.... Is there anything that I haven't done writing-wise? :\

While there's some interesting stuff that comes out during a "GOGOGOTYPE" story, I generally know something. If I don't know my monster by the time Nov 1st rolls around, I'll just start writing.

Damn, I have two papers around the corner plus a final term paper due at the end of the month. Oh well, I'll still give it a shot. Not sure how far I'll get.
Wonderful noodles helped me work out my "monster" so that's all in place. There are some details that I'll hash out later. I, too, plan on starting at midnight.
Still not sure if I want to do 1st or 3rd person POV. 1st person Duo POV is always fun, but might not suit the nature of the story. Then again, 1st person POV Heero I've never done before, so maybe I'll do that. I'll probably write exercises in both voices later and then compare them. There are certain secrets that need to be kept, so that might dictate the narration. I really feel like doing a 1st POV, but 3rd is a good staple, and I could switch between Heero and Duo since, at some point, I will need to show scenes through their eyes. Hmmm...
I could experiment with dual Heero AND Duo 1st POV and switch between the two during the story. That could be interesting, provided I get them distinct voices...
