x__x Maxine, please run your magic counting program again with a start date of the 20th and word count of 14,000!
I don't think I'm going to make it. This is just such a busy month for me (essays, finals, grad school applications, holidays, etc) so that isn't entirely unexpected. I'll keep working on the story, of course, and I just hope that maybe I'll get close to done by the end of the month. Either way I'd like to finish it and maybe, MAYBE, let people read it.
Or I might just let it sit on my hard-drive for my own private amusement.

But my final count was dismal, like 9,000 or something, which is funny 'cause last Friday I started a story that I'd been thinking on but finally sat own to do and I'm up to 13,000 words on it already. >_> It's called inspiration I guess. Sometimes the words flow from you and sometimes they don't.
^_^; How did David Eddings my fave author put it? Something like "When it's going well, it's like reaching up and grabbing fire from the heavens, but when it's going poorly, it's like giving birth to a baby elephant."
Unrelated: <_< I just learned last month that David Eddings died recently. You wanna know WHEN he died - on my birthday. ON MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY!! >_< While I was drunk, my favorite author passed away. *sobs*

:\ I've never wrote a script before but every time they send out the e-mails with this information it's like "uggg... should I bother?"
So the question has once again arisen. I know NOTHING about writing scripts. I think I'll spend this weekend reading up and seeing if I can put something together based on the rules and see if it's worth my time.
