Does it make you an egotistical jerk if you write yourself as the main chara? I had a story I have been writing on and off for a while now where I am the main character. I found however fiction faux is so much cooler then real faux. I mean I thought of changing the maib charas name but that felt so wrong. I seriously wonder how dante did it.

Finish the story faux, and then as the very last thing you do, do a REPLACE ALL for the name :3

But, you're not really going to tell me you don't have some name you would have liked to go by or something like that you can fit in? Kimberly is mine - though I've only done it once for like a story idea that never took off. I wanted myself in it cuz I fit the part and I just gave her the name Kimberly, the name I would have liked to have. Well, the story is, my mom and dad threw two names into a hat while they were coming up with my name: Kimberly and Penna ... guess which one I got. ... All middle school when I absolutely hated my name I kept imagining my name as Kimberly. *sigh*

The prob is my name is awesome. It's ********. It means roughly feller of trees. It always meant to me no matter how hard the obstacle I would succeed in the end.
