My fiance is not a violent man, but I have no doubt in my mind that if he saw someone hurting me there would be ridiculous levels of RAGE and KILL in his brain.

I had a dream one of my teachers died.
I was sad because I'd have to deal with a long-term sub.

One of my college teachers actually was a victim of a landslide over his home. I thought it was a dream until I checked again.... I liked him.

I had one great sub who ended up eventually as a full-time teacher at my high school. He was a good teacher. :)

I took this Anatomy class in high school that was really, really hard and I was making a C in it. This super-smart senior bitch who had early acceptance to Dartmouth was like OMG WHY AM I MAKING A B and complained to the principal about it... so they had this 4-way conference with the guidance counselor, principal, teacher and student.
And then our teacher was seen running down the hallway sobbing after the meeting.
We didn't see her for 2 weeks.
She came back and made a formal, teary-eyed apology/good-bye to the class before leaving. Rumor had it she checked herself into a mental institution, but she might have just taken an early retirement I have no idea. She wasn't fired, mind you, but just had a complete fucking mental breakdown.
Enter the substitute.
Suddenly the tests were open note, homework became drastically simpler, etc.
I went from making a C to an A.
Fucking awesome.
;__; The same year my beloved Latin teacher just disappeared one day, and then like a month later we find out she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's ... She'd been so batty and forgetful already that it wasn't a surprise, but still. ;__; I loved that lady. I took three years of Latin and it was just like taking Latin 1 three times.
