About a week ago I had an interesting, though not very fun, dream. I was a student at a Japanese high school but what made it interesting was that, for some reason, I'd lost 90% of my ability to speak Japanese. My subconcious is just cruel sometimes. It let itself access my knowledge of the language, so that all the other students/teachers/everyone else spoke it fine, but locked me out, so I was really struggling to understand, and be understood by, them.

It didn't help matters when I witnessed another student, who as I understood it was my best friend in the dream, have a heart attack. I rushed to get help, but it took too long to get anyone to come, and by the time we got back to him he was dead.

Then the police suspected foul play, with me as the primary suspect. I was taken into custody and was woken by my alarm clock while they were questioning me.

Ahaha, I love it when I have Terminator dreams. In this one I was the mother of Sarah Connor!

As he apparently had in my dream.

I wonder if maybe John Connor's survival is just guaranteed by the many-worlds theory, and we're just privy to that particular world, where it is impossible to kill John Connor before he has fulfilled his purpose, rendering him essentially immortal, and all of his ancestors immortal until after child bearing. Maybe the machines just can't comprehend how this is possible? They are likely stuck in a cause-effect mindset which prevents them from thinking metaphysically.

Also, when did you have this dream? Because August 27th would have been the 14th anniversary of Judgement Day in the Terminator universe.

I had a dream that these kids I know put a live gecko in the microwave with a bowl of rice. I was really bothered by that and was yelling at them. When it came out the lizard was somehow skinned and cleaned as if it had been prepared by a chef, mixed into the rice as some kind of grim bonus meal

pretty gross but better than dreaming about being late to work or forgetting my name tag, which is like every night now

This was all part of some quest to get food for like this supernatural parrot a guy had left with me as part of some weird mission from the beyond
