I dreamed that I had a job waiting tables and Pennywise the clown was the bus boy

So apparently I look better with my shirt off in dreams than I do in real life. No great surprise there.

Also, currency with denominations named leaf, branch, and tree. By ascending order of value. Why does this make so much sense.

Man, I miss the freaky non-gravity of dreams sometimes.

Real time etrian odyssey roguelike with disgaea-style monster capture and recruiting, plus subclassing.

This is a fair assessment of my dream. Monsters being captured and given subclasses to fill in party slots alongside normal, human classes. A multi-segmented worm-dragon boss. A screen filling hovertank boss. An irritatingly powerful minotaur normal enemy that would not leave me alone.

Also, a dungeon that was a dungeon.

Though, not sure how "roguelike" and "EO style party" are supposed to work together.

Also, to answer your question (okay, so it wasn't actually a question): complex procedural generation. Kind of like Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress world generation, but with completely different rules.

I actually remembered a dream I had, first time in months.It was super realistic, or at least realistic enough that I thought it was real for several seconds after I woke up.

It was long and I only remember the basics, but my family was getting a dog and I was super pissed. It was bigger, like a fat golden retriever and it probably drooled lots and was loud. Side note, when I visit other people who have dogs I hate it and spend my time not looking at it and nudging it away with my knee when I'm sitting. I really dislike being close to dogs or any animals really. We were driving in our convertible up this hill near our house and my parents told us we were getting the dog and I was yelling a lot, which is weird for me but I'd totally do it if we were getting a dog without any input from me. After a few seconds of me waking up I felt really relieved.

So other people have cool dreams, I have dreams about boring crap that makes me angry. Go figure. Glad I started remembering my dreams again, only to find out they're boring as shit.

I mean, in the dream I apparently had a 5-person party, but it was top-down tiled with "run into them" based combat. All I know was I captured a lizardman and gave him a wizard subclass, and then was run over by a space-car and had to break out of the dungeon's... dungeon, apparently. Also, holy crap so many bats. A space of the level literally covered in bats flapping around.

(It probably runs on an obscure variant of linux, just like every other piece of electronics)

The trick, Zam, is to go to sleep while thinking about really cool shit. Videogames, stories, comics, cartoons, and it seems especially RPG like things. If it makes you think enough, it gets into your dream.

yeah but that's the first dream I've remembered in months :/
