The cheesecumber sandwich is its own beast. You cannot really compare it to any other variety of cucumber sandwich. I went into this as somebody who does not like cheese very much. It tastes like a cucumber sandwich with an attitude. Much more flavour than a cucumber sandwich with, say, mayo and pepper. I'd say toasted rye with pepper and mayo is my favourite but if I had the choice between toasted rye bread or toasted cheese bread, I'd take the latter simply because I do not get cheese bread too often. It's pretty good.

Last night my sister took me out to Red Lobster ^_^ I've never been before! It was great!

To explain how awesome this is, I kinda gotta side track and explain my sister: she's like three steps away from being vegetarian. I've seen it slowly progress over her life, but the mere idea that her food comes from an animal is kinda "UGG" to her. She was in the supermarket the other day and they have some kind of diagram of a cow and what parts go into what - it sickened her. She's a "I'll eat if you don't tell me where it comes from."

Fish is ok to eat in front of her as well as shrimp that is breaded. It's de-shelling that makes her absolutely nauseous. She can't handle it.

SOOOO... to walk into Red Lobster where they have the food on display in a fish tank is a feat for her. And I had no idea we had a Red Lobster near us and she'd been planning for over a month now to take me for my birthday feast. So <3333 I felt the love when she drove parked at the place after telling me to hide my eyes.

I had talked about it frequently that I had never had lobster and I've always wanted to have some, so she told me she would be severely disappointed in me if I didn't order me some after the huge sacrifice she was making.

I order me one of those sampling platters that has a little of everything. Crab legs (<3) shrimp, and :3 a lobster tail already cooked (I wouldn't know how to crack one open though the waitress said she would be happy to teach me).

:O OMG, LOBSTER IS SO FUCKING GOOD!! I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! ^_^ Extremely impressed. Normally I like my seafood dipped in a little cocktail sauce but I actually didn't feel all that compelled to dip this meat since it was just soooo gooood. It's my new favorite meat. <3

^_^; I felt bad for Tia who did enjoy her meal of a pasta Alfredo with Shrimp in it. She had eaten prior to going (she said she knew she was going to lose her appetite) but she said it was harmless enough to where she could eait it. ^_^;; Eheh... but the activity of cracking crab legs still made her ill. :3 And of course I got mischievous and turned the empty lobster shell over so the shell retook its original form. XD she tells me I now owe her one and I will pay dearly.

We also got drinks ^_^ YAY! I got my favorite: Bahama Mama. Rum and Seafood! :3 what was there not to love about the evening? Still feel bad for Tia, despite enjoying the time spent teasing her about it XD

I never got to try those super expensive lobster specials Subway had at some point. For shame. :<

^_^ It's just such a creamy sort of meat. Oh god, it just melted on my tongue. Aww, I'm never going to forget that wonderful taste. <3

Also, Maxine, you still use "aww" in a way I have never seen.

Also, "Aww, I'm never going to forget that wonderful taste." is a little different from "Aww, isn't it a cute puppy?" I think.

Christina (aka Tia - a nickname I gave her when we were toddlers cause I couldn't pronounce her name) = ba... wait o_O; how did we start calling her bad? 'Cause of her crappy choice in guys? LOL. Ok, yes, she's the one who gives me the most fucking headaches. She's the one who's two years younger than me (currently 24) and who I grew up with. I'm sure I'll be yelling about her again sometime soon, but for now we are back on decent terms - hell, we're family. For better or worse. We've fought in the past, tried to kill each other in the past, threw things at each other, but I still think we are pretty close considering. don't call her "bad" ... not while I'm not angry with her anyways XD
