I wonder if your Chinese take-out is the same as ours? I know that our "Chinese" take-out is extremely "Americanized" (kind of like how Tex-Mex food is different from authentic Mexican food).
The other day I made brownies. And then I ate them all.
I regret nothing.
What do you eat?

Well, 'Chinese' food in the Netherlands nearly always means 'Chinese-Indonesian', but otherwise I think the dishes are authentic to their regions/cultures of origin.
Which isn't to say that the dishes are the same as yours though. The restaurant's standard combo-meal has Ku Low Yok (deep-fried breaded pork balls with fruity sweet-sour sauce), Fu Yong Hai (omelet in sweet-sour sauce), Babi Pangang (roasted pork strips in sweet-sour sauce), Satay (chicken meat on a stick in peanut sauce), Nasi Goreng (fried rice), and fried shrimp. Another popular dish is Chap Choy (veggies and chicken cooked in broth).

No, those dishes are entirely different from our standard fare. I would say the most popular/common Chinese take-out foods here are:
Sweet and Sour Chicken (fried chicken puffs with sweet and sour sauce on the side)
Sesame Chicken (fried chicken in a sweet, almost teriyaki style glaze)
Szechuan Beef (strips of beef stir-fried in spicy glaze)
Broccoli Beef (beef stir-fried with broccoli)
Egg Drop Soup or Won Ton Soup is often a given side, along with steamed or fried rice, and an egg roll.
This box is pretty much required, if nothing else than for the rice.
