Guinness and Cider.

This combination was introduced to me the other day by my (way cute) server. Like a black and tan, except with cider. The pub doesn't have my preferred Strongbow, but they do have a pear cider I've been drinking there since the place opened about a month ago.

It's called a snakebite/priest collar, apparently. A bit surprised I hadn't thought to do this before....

Yesterday me and my flatmate went for a pizza at a new place here in Shanghai.
For being an american-style pizza (sorry but here my italian culinary tradition can't be helped), it was very good.

And more importantly they made the pizza with bacon and pineapple with which I fell in love last year XD

I ate macadamia nuts while I was babysitting. Too bad they weren't chocolate covered.

I think I ate macadamia nuts once. They were tasteless compared to more common nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts).

Made boiled ginger pork loin again. I need to get Nathan to spell the name for me. Sounds like "shogan buta" but that's not how its spelled...

Also figured out that tonkatsu sauce is perfect for mellowing the chili paste

They make frigging red and green swedish berries for Christmas. RED AND GREEN, I SAY!
