I remember being in my teens and being able to devour everything. I once ate 7 cheeseburgers in one sitting, my personal best, and only felt mildly full at the end. I could have eaten one more, but lacked the cash (my friends had pooled their change for the 6th and 7th, just to see me do it).
After two weeks of eating out due to being away and packed and such, it's good to get back into cooking, even if I only have half my kitchen stuff unpacked. I made tortellini the other night and Panang Curry last night. I have everything to make stew for tomorrow, too. (My signature Southwest Stew; the secret ingredient is a jar of salsa).
Now, of course, there is the issue of no dishwasher...
