What do you eat?

Today I learned what made the Eggrolls we keep getting taste so good. There's a place in town called 'Chow family' They fill their eggrolls with Curry, they are SO delicious I could eat them forever maybe...But at 4 dollars per 2, I'd run out of money first.

Mexican food here is awful.

I was eating with some girls, and one of them was Mexican, and I was like "Oh man the thing I really miss is the great Tex-Mex. You just can't get good Tex-Mex here."

And the others were like "Quoi?"

And then me and the Mexican girl high-fived because she was like "Holy crarp Tex-Mex is the best type of mexican food ever"

The enchiladas were way greasy and the rice had fucking corn and peas in it -- WTF? Whatever. Just whatever.

Right now in the crock-pot at home I have a "Lazy Kino Quick Supper"

Consists of:

- 4lbs chicken thighs (they were on sale, 99 cents a pound!)
- 8oz button mushrooms, roughly chopped
- 1 bottle Italian dressing

Here's hoping it turns out.

Lazy Kino Quick Supper was a success. The mushrooms turned out awesome. I shredded the chicken for Mr Kino to eat as a sandwich, since he likes sandwiches. Crock-pot chicken is the absolute best because it just falls right off the bone. The Italian dressing reacted so-so in the crock pot; I had to scoop nearly a cup of fat/oil off the top before plating the food. Maybe a different type of dressing for next time with less oil.

I did all the stupid dishes, so tonight I'll probably make tortellini.

I don't know... Buffets are awesome. I'm not sure whether Shanghai Palace has a dinner buffet; they might only have one for Sunday lunch, for all we know. That's the only time we ever go there. But I like it, maybe even better than New Dynasty. It's certainly cheaper.

Three rolls of sushi and a bag of almonds packed for tomorrow's journey. Ended up making two rolls of sushi too many, but bravely remedied the situation.
