I just wasted $10 on really awful enchiladas. Like... the worst enchiladas I've ever had in my life. First of all, they had mole sauce rather than red or green enchilada sauce, and they sprinkled cheese on top like parmesan, rather than melting it. And when I asked for cheese enchiladas they didn't understand and just stuffed unmealted cheese chunks into the tortilla... ugh! It was really bad. It's a very authentic mexican food place, so I'm sure if I'd gotten something else it'd have been fine, but the enchiladas were crap and that's what I always get -- cheese enchiladas.
I'm about ready to give up all hope of finding good Tex-Mex in Virginia. You can get it just everywhere in Oklahoma and Texas, but here... no. Just, no.

Spicy shrimp wonton soup. Those wontons were a bit packed so it should hold folks off until dinner.
Been making many spicy dishes as of late. Aside from the fact I am not definitely not a spicy food person, it is a nice change of pace for this residence to be able to combine spicy with summer. Overall everything thus far has been enjoyable.

Mmmmm, that sounds amazing. @_@ I was already hungry. I am definitely a spicy food person, though. I was raised on it. Sour food is where I start to become cautious...
