Soups, snacks, noodles, and all around good eats. You can usually find their popular products like kimchii raymun or shrimp crackers in any grocery store, though to get the other stuff you'll probably want a more specialized distributor.

I read recently that in the UK there's an entire grocery store devoted to selling recently-expired food for cheap.

Here, every store just marks recently/near expired food at 50% and puts it within the clearing racks. Seniors usually clear it early in the morning.

IGA and Food Pyramid both mark down their nearly-expired meat, and IGA even does the dairy, but the dry and canned goods never get marked down like that. I've never seen Wal-Mart have reduced-for-quick-sale.

Whenever I buy meat anymore its nearly exclusively when it is on sale. If I can't get ground beef/turkey for under $2 a pound it isn't worth it.

I cringe thinking of all the waste, because they probably just throw them out or ship them back to the warehouse to be disposed of... sadness.

So my brother gave me a fish burger from Burger King so that I'll stay in my room while his friend's over (he doesn't want any possibilities of anyone walking in while they're having their fun) and within the hour a threw it up. I guess I'm not surprised. Fast food in general is my bane, especially Burger King. I always throw up when I eat from Burger King... especially their fries. >:/

I hate fast food, and burger king is pretty low in quality, even when compared to other fast food >_>
