Perhaps the cabbage fell into a black hole?
^_^ My dad bought me an AWESOME tea kettle at a garage sale the other day. I'll need to photo it to share with you, because it is too awesome for words. I had been using my old electric kettle that I bought while I was living in the dorms -- it's okay, but you can't heat more than 4 cups at a time. Plus now that we have an electric stove I like being able to place the kettle over a hot burner while it cools.
Anyway, the my increased ability to boil copious amounts of water, I made a giant pitcher of Jasmine Tea to stick in the fridge. I like to drink it with milk. I brought it with me to work and am currently drinking it from an Eskimo Joe's cup. ^_^ yay!

Pictures = yay!
Also, since this is a food thread, and no one seems to have mentioned it yet, here's a link to . It used to be Open Source Food, and was created by the Great Yong Fook. God I absolutely adored his old food blog, as well as his short-lived podcast. KRAAAGONNNNN!!!! *tears up*

I'm looking forward to the day when I can afford food beyond my usual staples of "poor food" ... sigh.
I'm back to eating only one meal a day to save money. ;___; I hate being poor and going to bed hungry and waking up hungry.

ooh, me too! Even though I hate musicals XD (Best musical EVER: The Happiness of the Katakuris. OMFG its AWESOME)
I really want to see an opera, preferably a Wagner, and a ballet. We had the Moscow Ballet come through my town... but I was going to see it on the double-date, and the other couple backed out last minute and then my fiance stood me up and I was too upset to see it by myself. Sadness.
Man am I hungry. I'm debating trying to run up the gas station if/when the store empties of customers. It's overpriced junk food, but at least it's food.
I should really transfer my electric tea kettle to the store, and use it to make the instant Pho I discovered. It's tastier than cup 'o noodle.

I wanna see an opera and ballet, too, but I would want to see those by myself. I don't want to risk having my sister or someone sitting beside me who would rather make fun of the high pitched singing rather than enjoying it. They had a clip on that movie "Pretty Woman" and it sounded absolutely gorgeous but, yes, high and a little "silly" to the wrong ears. I don't want to risk having someone laughing while I'm sitting there trying to be moved by it as passionately as Julia was in that movie. And ballet... meh, I think others would just be bored.
<_< No one near likes anything that I like. *sigh*

Ever heard an opera sung in English? REALLY SILLY.
German opera, ala Wagner and Mozart, sounds amazing.
I would love to see a Stravinsky ballet, especially Rite of Spring. Which, incidentally, caused a freaking RIOT in Paris at the debut. That's right. It was so awesome people went crazy and started rioting.
Jesus christ that is fucking awesome.
