Err, apparently I'm hungry?
My mother showed up with a kebab-roll, 21:20 o'clock, and told me, "You didn't remind me you're hungry."
I, eh, I, OK, I suppose? Kind of prefer to not eat anything this late for years now, but.
Edit: Ah, yes, I see. It, well, it's dripping all over my desk. That's good, that's, that's the best kind of food. Every neatfreak's favourite.

Re: What do you eat?
For dinner tonight I made frog legs.
The recipe was wholly of my own invention as well.
Over night I marinaded them in a mixture of thai red curry paste, sherry, lime juice, cilantro, ginger, garlic, pepper, sriracha, and a dab of clove.
Then I prepared them by removing the bones, making small "filet" cuts and chunks.
Next I stir-fried the meat in sesame seed oil.
I added to this sliced bell pepper and snow peas, stir-fried it a bit more, then added sliced mushrooms.
Then I seasoned lightly with ginger, cayenne, and pepper.
Cooked it just a bit, to soften the vegetables, threw in fresh cilantro and turned off the heat + covered for about 1 minute to let everything settle.
TADA! Not bad for a first effort/made up recipe. Mr Kino liked it, at least ^^;

Re: What do you eat?
I'm alternating more of my recipes into Mr Kino's diet
For lunch:
stir-fried chicken in sesame seed oil with mushrooms (+ broccoli, red pepper, and onion for him) in a light sauce made of sherry, soy sauce, sriracha, thai red curry paste, with a dab of pepper and ginger. I made only enough sauce to just barely coat the ingredients. I'm relying on the sesame seed oil to provide most of the flavor.
Basically just me throwing more stuff into my giant skillet -__-;; 99% of all my meals involve that

Re: What do you eat?
Had a couple glasses of a Laphroaig scotch last night. Can't remember which one--I think it may have been the 10 year old--but it was pretty good.

Re: What do you eat?
To be clear, I couldn't remember not because I got stupid on it--I only had a couple glasses--but simply because I was told the name once and only remembered the brand part. It was the bartender's suggestion after I sat there being indecisive for several minutes, and I figured I'd try something new. It had an interesting smokiness to it, and I liked it enough to have it again, although I'm not sure that I'd choose it regularly.

@drinking
bought my husband a 750ml bottle of Knob Creek bourbon to drink while we were in Oklahoma. Also bought him a pocket flask to smuggle said bourbon into my brother's wedding, since they had a keg and Mr Kino can't have beer (the carbs) ... but apparently bourbon's okay so, hey. diet beer.
Unfortunately he drank almost the entire bottle. In one day.
*facepalm* he absolutely deserved the resulting hangover. I was hard-pressed to feel sympathetic about it.

Whiskey of the Day: Seagram's 7 Dark Honey
Got a bottle on Friday. Pretty awesome (and dangerous to my health). Good enough to replace Jack Daniel's Honey as my favourite honey-flavoured whiskey. Compared with Seagram's, JD Honey now just feels downright syrupy. On the other end, the one from Bushmills I can't even really detect any honey flavour in. I am aware Wild Turkey makes a honey-flavoured whiskey, but I've yet to try it.
Edit: Oh, and I confirmed yesterday that the Laphroaig I mentioned earlier was indeed the 10 year old.
