If you're going to do an Italian opera, do Orfeo by Monteverdi. It's the story of Orpheus and Eurydice (I assume you know that one, but if you don't lemme know).

Anyway, it's considered to be the first opera.

I don't think I've ever had cuttlefish. Let alone cuttlefish-flavored snacks.
