Teenagers are monsters.

I have had to triple the amount of food I purchase and prepare to accommodate her appetite, sometimes quadruple for late-night snacking. And of course she can pass out after eating all of that and not gain a pound. <3

Just out of curiosity, which Famous Dave's did you go to? I live near the Uptown location at Calhoun Square, which is also a blues club.

I often enjoy a certain amount of hustle and bustle and liveliness when I go out somewhere to eat/drink with company, but I recall you've mentioned on a few occasions not liking loud or crowded environments, and that's perfectly fine.

Sounds like a not quite good restaurant to me. A good cook would match the toughness and size of the ingredients so their cooking time is roughly equal. A good restaurateur would moderate the din of the setting so people can have conversations while dining.
