If I can I like to grab my breakfast while I tend to the crops. I am not too picky so I eat fruits and vegetables right off the vines as I go along. :) September is almost here, so can't let anything go to waste!

I'll never understand how people can just bite into a tomato like it ain't no thang. It just feels so wrong to me. The only way I can eat tomatoes is if they're mixed with something like a salad or a fatty burger. Same with onions.

O.O I like to eat both raw. Well, I can't eat onion whole like the old man could on the farm, but I can still snack on it as I eat. Though I guess us country folk are weird like that.

Onions I'm fine with. (Even if I don't think they are all that great raw.) Tomatoes I seem to dislike unless they're sundried or turned into a sauce. At which point I fucking love them.

Ironically, despite tomatoes being my favourite fruit, ketchup is the only form I cannot eat.

I can eat them:
Plain
In a sandwich
In a paste
Cooked (boiled, grilled, etc.)
As a juice

But not ketchup. Could be the sugars and preservatives they typically add to it. Strangely enough, it is one of the few things I do not eat, though if people mix it into their cooking it's fine.

In general I can't think of a single time I like condiments on food, except pouring soy sauce on reheated vegetables after they have been refrigerated (bleck). Also, while this is more for chemical reasons, I put a bit of vinegar in with reheated rice to break the plastic bonds and help it taste just a bit more fresh.
