THIS IS A STORY ABOUT CORN
IT IS QUITE EPIC
[spoiler]
Him: Gimme your food.
Me: No, make your own.
Him: I don't wanna cook.
Me: Eat a sandwich.
Him: The bread is moldy. Make me food.
Me: No, make some ramen. Make macaroni and cheese. Eat some cereal.
Him: nuuuu I don't wanna cook...
Me: Eat some of that corn my parents gave you.
Him: *opens fridge, stares at it* I don't wanna cook...
Me: So... just eat it.
Him: Can you do that?
Me: *googles* This person says it's fuck-awesome raw.
Him: Okay. What do you do?
Me: Shuck it. Eat it.
Him: Hope I don't die from pesticide
Me: Rinse it first.
Him: Rinse it?
Me: Yeah, you rinse vegetables.
Him: This tastes awful!
Me: Oh?
Him: This is so terrible!
Me: Well, then cook it.
Him: How do you do that?
Me: Boil water. Put corn in water. Wait 10 minutes, then eat it.
Him: *looks around* Where's the big pot?
Me: Got curry in it. Use the medium pot, it's under the cabinet.
Him: Uuuuggggghh! Why's it got curry in it?
Me: 'Cause I forgot to clean it out yesterday. Use the medium pot.
Him: How long do I cook it?
Me: About up to ten minutes. It'll just get softer after that.
Him: Oh, should I take it out of the water?
Me: Yeah, wait until it's boiling, then add the corn.
Him: All right.
Him: Do we have any corn on the cob holders?
Me: Nope
Him: When I was a kid we had these funky ones...
Me: Plastic, yellow, shaped like corn?
Him: Yeah.
Me: Yeah, those weird cute.
Him: Too bad we don't have some.
Him: You sure we don't have any holders?
Me: Yeah.
Him: How am I suppose to eat it?
Me: I dunno, stick two forks in it or something.
Him: Is that what the internet says?
Me: No. Just use your hands.
Him: But it's hot
Me: Take it out of the water and wait for it to cool off.
Him: Uggghh.... Ugggh I guess.
Me: Just let cool for a bit. Put some butter on it while it's hot.
Him: If I burn my fingers I blame you. I blame you, and I'm going to shove this hot corn into your eyes.
Me: So how was your corn?
Him: ... It was okay.

o_O WTF, people actually USE those things?
^_^ Me and my family are BIG corn eaters. XD There's nothing better than corn on the cob! Though lately, I've gotten into the habit of removing the corn from the cob. >_> I hate biting into it 'cause it gets stuck in my teeth!
Oh, Kino! You know what you should try? Put some sugar in the water when you boil them. <3 It's SOOOOOO good that way. Makes it just a little sweet. :3 Putting salt in the water instead isn't a bad idea, either.

Corn's good, although I definitely prefer it off the cob (I hate the feeling of having something stuck in between my teeth).
After an interesting conversation with my family, I realized everyone has a different apple preference.
My mom likes gala apples, which are fine, but definitely not my favorite. My brother likes red delicious apples, which I don't enjoy at all, mainly because of their rough skin. I prefer granny smith apples due to the tartness of them.
But, in the end, I'd take applesauce over all of them.

Corn on the cob.... hmmmm.... reminds me of the webcomic Bearnuts... in the arc 'Cracknophobia', Crack-bear is being put in the spotlight... he has a phobia of almost anything... including corn...
...> Crackbear looks at a plate of corncobs in his usual terrified manner <...
Prozacbear:
"Seriously?! Corn? In general , or the cob form in particular?"
Crackbear:
"IT'S UNHOLY!!"
Gaybear:
"I can see that. Any food that can go through your digestive tract and come out the other end looking exactly the same is a little disturbing"
Nerdbear:
"You're disturbing!.I'm trying to eat!"
or just read it here: (starting from the afore mentioned arc)

On that note, I'm terrified of sesame seeds.
Also, I made my chicken noodle casserole again. I had a bit of a freak out when the power went out and my casserole still had 10 minutes left on the timer! (Electric stove) I just let it sit in the hot oven for the remaining time.
We were terrified to open the fridge, so I left it in the oven when I went to work. It was still a little bit warm when I took it out after getting home. It's sitting in the fridge now. I'll eat it tomorrow as well <3
