Ah! I believe what we have here is a difference in culture.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ...
Dutch pancake:
Flat, thin, clearly designed to be rolled up and consumed.
North American pancakes:
Thick and stackable.

Ah, I see. I thought your pancakes were thin too. Thick ones you could indeed cut up in pieces without rolling them up.
That huge pile of strawberries/icecream is definitely nonstandard though. You'd usually have them with syrup or sugar&cinnamon (although jam or chocopaste are nice too).

Well I found the dutch example first and wanted one to match...
Here's a site which claims that bacon-pancakes are popular in the netherlands:
And I think this photo shows a far more standard version of "Pancakes" to North Americans:

This is food porn photography. Those pancakes are cold, and probably inedible, and that butter isn't butter but like... clay or plastic.
