Yes, isa: in order to understand the story in its entirety you have to get ALL endings. .... AAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL ENDINGS!!!! ((there are epilogues, too. you have to go back and replay the ending to get it))
And use the skip feature - it's nicer compared to other games - when you reach new text that you haven't read, it stops. SO! just keep it going fast forward and even use the story jumps that have opened up in the extras menu.

Yes indeed, the huge save slots are the only means to enjoy all of the Taiga Workshops again in FSN; or the rather large number of Tsukihime Endings. LOL.

So...Requiem for the Golden Witch.

Guesses:

The girl on the cover/portrait is probably Beatrice, if only because of having the one winged eagle and the ring of the head. As for the guy, it may be young Kinzo. Who evidently had an anchor necklace. And yellow eyes.
Other possible identities for the girl: 1998 Jessica, Rosa
Other possible identities for the guy: Van Dine (goodbye, Shannontrice), Rosa's husband
And Bern's the game master. Why do I get the feeling "Requiem" is an understatement?
And what's up with Zepar and Furfur on the cover? Their genders better be revealed...[/spoiler]

...is that "Higurashi no Naku koro ni" ?
Wow. IIRC, that one didn't have an English translation yet,
but I'm probably wrong.
More on-topic: I'm showing my brother Saya no Uta.
We both like it. ^^
Also, @Ever17: I haven't really started a new game yet.
I...just don't have any motivation.
Also, I'm reading Fate/Stay Night, which is shaping up to a pretty interesting story.

It's Umineko no Naku koro ni (Chiru). It's by the same person who made Higurashi.
Basically, at the start 18 people are on an island. A typhoon happens, cutting them off from the outside world (the island has a mansion on it). People die. And then it gets weird.
