:3 Just the whole gravity of the situation (it's not voiced btw, noodles). The duct tape was used as a sure-fire method to prove no doors were open (it was a special super-detective brand) - in the scene she has just tricked Battler into giving it back to her after he banned it.

It was a really dramatic "oh fuck what have you done, Battler" scene and she says:

"I... Furudo Erika... have duct tape!"
